For Dry Hair Only
Step 1: Prep Like a Pro
Start with clean, dry hair. Mist it all over with a heat-protectant.
Step 2: Section It Off
Clip your hair up and out of the way with our Grip Clips. Start with the bottom layer. Select your heat setting - 180°C/360°F is the default (your last setting will be saved for next time, love that for us).
To turn it on:
- Plug it into a standard outlet.
- Short press the power button to light it up.
- To power off, hold the button down for 1.5 seconds.
Step 3: Time to Curl
Hold the tong with the side that says “This side towards head” facing your head. Take a small one-inch section of hair and place the tool a few inches from the root. Slide the top part of that section (not the ends) into the long groove and into the chamber.
First time? No worries. Start with a tiny section at the back to get comfortable and find the right temperature for your hair.
Choose your curl direction - clockwise or anti-clockwise - depending on the look you want. Hold down the left or right rotation button until your hair is wrapped, then let go and wait up to seven seconds. When you hear three beeps, it’s time to gently release your perfect curl.
For a quick spin, tap the rotation button once. The protective comb keeps the hot barrel safely away from your scalp so you can curl without worries.
Want a looser curl? Just release a little earlier and you’re good to go.
Finishing Touches
Allow your curls to cool completely before styling. You can leave them as they are for defined curls or gently brush them out for a softer, more voluminous look.
Bonus Bits to Know:
- The tool will turn off after 60 minutes of non-use (safety first).
- But still, power down and unplug after each use, just to be extra safe.

The tip of the automatic curling iron and the outside of the barrel are insulated to keep your face and hands safe from burns while you use it.
It features an intelligent magnetic induction motor and an anti-tangle design. If you put in too much hair or insert it the wrong way, the curling iron will automatically pause to prevent tangling and you will hear a buzzer for three seconds. When this happens, stop and carefully remove your hair with your fingers, making sure not to touch the heated barrel.
